First film to be made in Sanskrit, it shows the life and times of the 8th century philosopher, Adi Shankaracharya (आदि शङ्कराचार्यः), who consolidated the doctrine of Advaita Vedanta (Non-dualism) in Hinduism. Featuring music by Vid. M. Balamurali Krishna, Madhu Ambat's cinematography, the film bagged four National Awards (Best film, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Audiography). Delve into what is the essence of Indian philosophy, into the ancient techniques which help answer the myriads of stimuli in the storm of life, of the turmoil, stress, and the quest for the meaning of existence.
