This brilliant masterpiece by G.V. Iyer had received many awards at the 31st National Film Awards. It won four awards, including Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Best Audiography.
The movie depicts the big battle Sankara had to fight to bring out Hinduism from blind practices.
