SPIC MACAY IIITDM Jabalpur Chapter Presents : Illustrated Talk on the Art of Madhubani by Ms. Manisha Jha

 Hello everyone!

The Indian Heritage and Philosophy Club (IHPC) the SPIC MACAY Chapter of IIITDM Jabalpur, cordially invites you all to a beautiful evening on Friday, 21 Jan'22 at 5pm with renowned National Awardee Madhubani artist and architect Manisha Jha.

Manisha Jha is the founder of Madhubani Art Center and was the first person to exhibit Mithila Paintings in art galleries. She is recipient of the National Award by Hon’ble President Shri Pranab Mukherjee and has also been awarded the Bihar Kala Samman and the State Award among others for her contribution and excellence in Mithila Painting.

She has created designs for various consumer brands, clothing lines and everyday products. She will be here showcasing Madhubani Art and would explain how anyone can give their art an artistic edge with their unique experiences. She would also show how she integrated Madhubani Art with modern products.

Come and join us to witness and celebrate the mesmerizing richness of Madhubani Art this Friday.

Keep your sketch pads and color pens ready. You will also get a chance to interact with her, showcase your artwork and get advice on the same.
